Job Description :

- Frictionless art development within his/her team. - Strives to raise creative standards and skill level among Artists in his/her unit, judged by CGO, Directors, MDs, Producer - Responsible for the creation and asset management of high quality game art content. Provides guidance and feedback for all artists within team and is capable of heading the art production within project. - Identifies Art risks within his/her unit and escalates them to the Producer and the Heads of 2D/3D Art. - Accountable for recruiting Artists, knows the requirements and purpose of the role, in consultation with the Producer and the Heads of 2D/3D Art. - Suggests trainings, software/hardware upgrades to ensure professional staff development.

Responsible for the production of templates and best practice game assets. Can clearly communicate production approach to all Artists. Guidance

- Delegates tasks to all team artists. - Recognize and implement opportunities to improve production efficiency and asset quality. - Provides guidance, feedback and asset approval to team Artists. Overviews all assets and ensures the consistent high quality of all project art. - Supervises and contributes to outsource briefs as well as providing assessment and approval of outsource deliverables. - Leads 2 annual workshops for Artists and provides mentoring for the team. - Sells the value of our game(s) across our industry, including interviews & potential meetings with the press, partner companies and Company executives. - Accurately predicts production requirements and timelines to PM and Producer and ensures deadlines are clearly communicated and achieved. - Produces and circulates clear documentation of production guidelines and best working practices within the team and the company. - Ensures team works in a source safe environment and with an organized professional approach. - Willing to acquire new knowledge and skills. - Creates and maintains project asset list together with the PM and clearly documents progress. Ensures all relevant documentation is recorded and presented in an accessible form (such as Confluence). - Ensures the defined file naming and folder structure convention is maintained throughout the project. - Presents results weekly, regularly updating the Heads of 2D/3D Art as to the status of the production. - Identifies problems in his/her unit, solves them and (if not possible) escalates them to his/her interfaces. - Display a positive working attitude within the workplace with the aim to motivate and inspire colleagues.

Job Requirements :

  • Strong knowledge of preferred 3D software (including 3DS Max or Maya).
  • Strong knowledge of preferred 2D software (including Photoshop).
  • Experience with lighting, composition, color studies, painting and storyboards and a good understanding of traditional art and design fundamentals.
  •  Up to date knowledge of latest design trends in a wide variety of areas including games, film, architecture, design and animation.

Educational degree - University degree: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in fine arts, additional certifications in multimedia arts preferred.

Technical expertise - Work experience: +5 years of relevant experience in the gaming industry. Participation in at least one commercially relevant title or project as a lead artist.

Our client is a leading international publisher and developer of video games for mobile phones, smart phones and downloadable games for consoles, we are looking for a Social Game Designer for their studio in Madrid. As a social game designer, your responsibility is to design iPhone and mobile games that will be played by a maximum number of players, understanding why people want to play together and what motivates them to promote the game to their friends. You are a confident designer, an expert in creating accessible and entertaining user experience. You understand the difference between player types and you are able to design game features that will forge a vibrant community. Responsibilities: - Design strong social mechanics for the core gameplay and improve user experience for existing ones to boost virality and social retention. - Define priorities and follow implementation with the teams: producers, artists, developers and writers. - Research competition and internal products to create benchmark, best practice and pitch for new social concepts. - Analyze the evolution of the metrics you defined to spot both viral bottlenecks and facilitators, then report suggestions for the game design or strategy accordingly.

Job Requirements :

GAME MONETIZATION EXPERT

Job Description :

  As a Game Monetization Expert, your responsibility is to understand how a game works as a service for its customers and how the customers behave in it, identifying and developing the purchase drivers in the game monetization context, and providing constant data-driven recommendation on design, tuning and pricing in order to improve game financial performance. To do this, pre-release, you’re able to design the virtual products a game will offer, define metrics that allow you to individually measure their impact in a given title, and work closely with the development team to see those design refined and metrics implemented. Once the game is launched, you’re able to analyze the collected data and report which are the performing/underperforming aspects of the game economic model, why, and provide solutions to our client management. Your day to day duties include: -       Defining the virtual products and their statistics with the development team, and understanding how each of them contributes to the game dynamics. -       Identifying the potential sale drivers for the different product categories in the game economy, defining the key points of exposure for those drivers. -       Balancing the needs for those virtual products, their relation, life cycle, and their streams of availability. -       Managing pricing as to create specific price point roles, implement selling strategies for higher price points. -       Regularly provide user feedback and stat/price point tuning to development team based on play-testing, both during game development and post-release. -       Analyze the evolution of the metrics you defined to spot both monetization bottlenecks and facilitators, then report suggestions for the game design or strategy accordingly. -       Provide constant information on latest monetization trends of the industry and major competition. This is a position requiring a mix of strong economy and marketing knowledge with passion for analytical game design and the emerging free-to-play business model.

Job Requirements :
